THE Army has searched three houses during an operation in four villages in Bongoltoli Union under Baghaichari Upazila of Rangamati district, according to sources.
The operation was carried out at 4a.m. on Wednesday with the soldiers from Korengatoli sub-zone and Dui Tila Army camp raiding Ranyabon-chara, Agala-chara, Bhuachari and Tindojori villages.
The houses searched belong to Bongo Chakma, 45, son of unknown and Rubel Chakma, 28, son of Pagana Hulo Chakma in Bhuachari village and Chonga Chakma, 45, son of late Indra Kumar Chakma in Tin Dojori village.
The soldiers also interrogated the villagers about UPDF activists and left for their camps at 3p.m.
