Army personnel stationed at Ambagan in Choto Kattoli of Longadu Union No. 7 in Longadu Upazila of Rangamati allegedly looted solar panels, batteries, lights, and various other equipment from a local resident’s house. It is also reported that the soldiers broke the door of the house.

The incident occurred last night, Thursday (27 November 2025).

At the time of the incident, no one was at home. Due to fear stemming from the soldiers’ presence, all members of the household had already left the house.

Meanwhile, it has been reported that the army team stationed last night in Dwimukyachara left this morning (Thursday) for Tripurachara.

Additionally, locals said that the army team stationed at Tholchaap in Naniachar Upazila has left that location and is now stationed at Jadukachara Government Primary School in Harinathchara.

On the other hand, according to local sources, a group from the soldiers stationed at Dhebachara Government Primary School in the south is expected to travel to Tripura Chara via Marichug–Jamchug of Bandukbhanga.

It is notable that since 26 November, army personnel have been stationed in various areas of Longadu, Naniachar, and Bandukbhanga conducting operations. Under the pretext of searching for so-called “terrorists,” they have been oppressing and harassing innocent local residents.

Due to such operations by the soldiers, ordinary people in the area are being forced to live in constant fear.
