{"id":1200,"date":"2014-06-21T16:52:52","date_gmt":"2014-06-21T10:52:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/chtnews.com\/english\/?p=1200"},"modified":"2023-01-30T17:01:47","modified_gmt":"2023-01-30T11:01:47","slug":"logang-up-chairman-shot-at-in-panchari","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/chtnews.com\/english\/2014\/06\/21\/logang-up-chairman-shot-at-in-panchari\/","title":{"rendered":"Logang UP Chairman shot at in Panchari"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/chtnews.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">chtnews.com<br><\/a>Saturday, June 21,\u00ad 2014<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><b>THE unidentified gunmen on Friday fired shots at&nbsp;Samar&nbsp;Bikash Chakma, Chairman of Logang Union Parishad, in Panchari Upazila.<\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But he survived the assassination attempt as the bullets missed their target.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The incident occurred on Friday night near Panchari police station when Mr Chakma was on his way back home from Panchari bazaar on a motorbike.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He barely crossed Panchari police station and reached in front of Panchari Bazaar High School, then the miscreants, who were lying in wait, fired on him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Samar Bikash Chakma confirmed the incident to&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/chtnews.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">chtnews.com<\/a>, saying: \u201cI was returning home from Panchari bazar on a motorbike. It was 9pm. As soon as I reached in front of Bazar High School, the terrorists fired shots at me.
