{"id":1220,"date":"2014-07-05T10:50:12","date_gmt":"2014-07-05T04:50:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/chtnews.com\/english\/?p=1220"},"modified":"2023-01-30T17:00:14","modified_gmt":"2023-01-30T11:00:14","slug":"two-pcp-activists-arrested-by-army-in-dighinala","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/chtnews.com\/english\/2014\/07\/05\/two-pcp-activists-arrested-by-army-in-dighinala\/","title":{"rendered":"Two PCP activists arrested by army in Dighinala"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/chtnews.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">chtnews.com<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Friday, July 04,\u00ad 2014<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><b>TWO activists of the Hill Students Council, better known by its Bengali acronym PCP, have been arrested by army in Boradam under Dighinala Upazila.<\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The PCP members \u2013 Jibon Chakma, 17, son of Nigira Chakma and Sunil Chakma, 17, son of Dev Jyoti Chakma \u2013 were arrested at noon while they were raising public donations through the sale of coupons for their organization\u2019s central council to be held from 15 \u2013 16 July.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jibon Chakma is the office secretary of the Dighinala College Unit of the PCP, while Sunil is from Nareichari, sources in the PCP told&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/chtnews.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">chtnews.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A group of army personnel led by Md.
