{"id":215,"date":"2012-07-24T15:21:00","date_gmt":"2012-07-24T15:21:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/chtnews.com\/english\/?p=215"},"modified":"2023-01-29T06:35:57","modified_gmt":"2023-01-29T06:35:57","slug":"land-grabbing-continues-in-ramgarh","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/chtnews.com\/english\/2012\/07\/24\/land-grabbing-continues-in-ramgarh\/","title":{"rendered":"Land grabbing continues in Ramgarh"},"content":{"rendered":"<div dir=\"ltr\"><i><a href=\"http:\/\/chtnews.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">chtnews.com<\/a><\/i><\/p>\n<div><i>Tuesday, July 24, 2012<\/i><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><b>FRESH incident of land grabbing have been reported in Ramgarh, where the Border Guards <\/b><b>Bangladesh<\/b><b>(BGB) on 6 June grabbed 40 acres of land belonging to a Jumma villager.<\/b><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>According to sources, the recent land grabbing took place in the village of Belchari in Navanga Mouza No. 237 under Patachara Union of Ramgarh Upazila in Khagrachari district.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Niru Kumar Tripura alleged that one Nur Alam alias Alam Commander son of Mojibul Haq from Korer Hat, Mirsarai, Chittagong occupied five acres of land belonging to him and was building a Muslim prayer house there.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>He said the land is registered in his name and that he had been in possession of the land for many years.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\u2018Nur Alam had made a similar attempt in the past to grab this piece of land.
