(SSC stands for Secondary School Certificate)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to eyewitnesses\u2019 accounts, a group of army personnel led by a captain (he took his name badge off his uniform) from Naniachar zone raided Borpulpara village under Sabekyong Union at 8:30 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At 8:45 pm., the soldiers surrounded Subikash Chakma\u2019s house and asked the inmates whether Subikash Chakma was at home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When his 16-year-old son Uchchash Chakma replied that he was not, the army men beat him severely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Subikash Chakma told&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/chtnews.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">chtnews.com<\/a>, \u2018I believe the army did this because I had refused to cooperate with the army-backed Nobyo Mukhosh Bahini, which has unleashed a reign of terror in Naniachar and elsewhere.\u2019<br>&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8211;<br>News No. 20\/ 2017<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>chtnews.comSunday, November 19, 2017 AN SSC examinee has been tortured after the army raided their house in Naniachar in Rangamati district.
