{"id":4515,"date":"2010-04-07T20:07:00","date_gmt":"2010-04-07T14:07:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/chtnews.com\/english\/?p=4515"},"modified":"2023-02-01T20:08:19","modified_gmt":"2023-02-01T14:08:19","slug":"jummas-boycott-meeting-on-law-and-order-situation-in-khagrachari","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/chtnews.com\/english\/2010\/04\/07\/jummas-boycott-meeting-on-law-and-order-situation-in-khagrachari\/","title":{"rendered":"Jummas boycott meeting on law and order situation in Khagrachari"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>chtnews.com<\/strong><br>News No. 87\/2010, April 07, 2010<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Prominent Jumma personalities in Khagrachari have boycotted a meeting on law and order situation called by Deputy Commissioner, Mohammad Abdullah.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They boycotted the meeting in protest against the February 23 attacks on Jumma localities in the town and the DC\u2019s biased actions in favour of the settlers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The meeting was held today at 10am at DC Hall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All the Jumma prominent figures who were invited to attend the meeting including Ananta Bihari Khisha and BK Roaza have abstained from attending it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The DC also invited NGOs and socio-cultural organisations for a meeting tomorrow to discuss the celebration of Boisabi festival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, sources said they too will boycott the meeting. \u201cI am not going to attend the meeting.
