{"id":5726,"date":"2025-11-20T22:00:37","date_gmt":"2025-11-20T16:00:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/chtnews.com\/english\/?p=5726"},"modified":"2025-11-21T15:06:53","modified_gmt":"2025-11-21T09:06:53","slug":"army-raids-and-loots-villagers-home-in-dighinala","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/chtnews.com\/english\/2025\/11\/20\/army-raids-and-loots-villagers-home-in-dighinala\/","title":{"rendered":"Army Raids and Loots Villager\u2019s Home in Dighinala"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Dighinala Correspondent, CHT News<\/strong><br \/>\nThursday, 20 November 2025<\/p>\n<p>Members of the Bangladesh Army looted cash after conducting a search at the home of a villager in Himanshu Karbari Para of Ward 5 in Dighinala Union No. 4 under Dighinala upazila of Khagrachari district.<\/p>\n<p>The villager subjected to the search is Shantimoy Chakma (36), son of Shantimoni Chakma.<\/p>\n<p>According to local sources, today, Thursday (20 November 2025), at around 7 p.m., a group of army personnel went to Himanshu Karbari Para and raided the house of Shantimoy Chakma.<\/p>\n<p>During the raid, the army repeatedly asked Shantimoy, the homeowner, \u201cWhere are the UPDF members?\u201d In response, he said, \u201cNo UPDF members live here.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The soldiers then entered the house and conducted a thorough search.
