A leader of the Democratic Youth Forum, a front organisation of the United People’s Democratic Front (UPDF), has been arrested in Belaichari in Rangamati district, UPDF sources say.
Police arrested Ananta Bikash Tanchangya (38), convenor of DYF Rajstali Upazila Unit, yesterday, Sunday, at 8pm from Belaichari bazaar.
He hails from Ducter Para in Rajstali.
It could not be immediately known whether he has been implicated in any cases.
