TWO villagers have been kidnapped by an armed gang loyal to Santu Larma in Subolong, Rangamati, sources have said.
The armed men kidnapped Shanti Moy Chakma, 42, and Bilash Chakma of Panchari Moanpara village under Hazachara Mouza when they were on their way back home from Subolong bazaar in the afternoon today.
The former is the Karbari or chief of the village.
No further details are available.
The incident follows a Taliban-style terrorist attack yesterday by Santu group in Baghaichari in which a UPDF member was seriously wounded.
