A VILLAGE chief has been sued over allegations of attempting to rape a 3rd grade girl student in Dighinala under Khagrachari district, according to Prothom Alo, a Bengali national daily published from Dhaka.
The village chief (Matobbor), Fozol Ali, 60, has been hiding since the incident.
Four days after the incident, yesterday, Thursday, the girl’s mother filed a case with the police station against him under Women and Children Repression Prevention Act, the paper said in its today’s issue.
No further details have been given.
