THE army searched the house of Pratap Singh Chakma, 50, son of Upendra Chakma in the village of Pilabhanga under Patachara Union No. 2 in Ramgarh Upazila.
According to sources, a group of army personnel from Guimara brigade raided and searched the house of Pratap Singh Chakma at 11pm on Monday, 16 June.
The soldiers asked the inmates of the house about Pratap Singh, who was away from home at that time.
Finding nothing incriminating, the army men returned to their camp.
It is not immediately known why the army carried out the search.
