THE Detective Branch of the police arrested Pai Kumar Tripura, 26, son of late Mohan Tripura from Matiranga bazaar without any warrant of arrest in the morning today.
No reason was given for the arrest. It is not known whether the police brought charges against him.
Mr Tripura is a resident of Rubber Plantation No. 10 in Matiranga in Khagrachari district, and was arrested at about 10:30am when he went to Matiranga bazaar.
