The POLICE on Saturday arrested a college student in a case filed with Dighinala police station following the 15 March crackdown on the participants of a foot march in Dighinala.
Shumesh Chakma, a 1st year student of Dighinala Degree college, was arrested at 9 a.m. today from the gate of the college.
The 17-year-old, a resident of Choto Merung and son of Gayno Ranjan Chakma, has been taken to the police station.
