CHARAN SINGH TANCHANGYA, a UPDF organiser, has been arrested from Krishi Gobeshona area in Khagrachari town.
The army arrested him from a tea shop at 10:45am today. He was speaking to local people when a group of army personnel encircled the tea shop.
The army filed a criminal case against him under the Speedy Trial Act and sent him to Khagrachari jail.
