THE ARMY arrested a UPDF activist, Amar Shanti Chakma alias Kanon(35) on Saturday from Marishy Noi kilo in Baghaichari, Rangamati.
He was speaking to people at a tea shop at 11 a.m.
when the army from Dui tila army camp appeared there and took him away.
Kanon son of Nagendra Chakma is a resident of Agalachari village under Bongol-toli Union in Baghaichari.
He was handed over to the police after the arrest.
