THE army on Friday arrested a Jumma trader from Ujo Bazaar in Sajek of Rangamati district, sources said and added that he was released a few hours later.
A group of army personnel from Baghaihat zone arrested Shanti Raj Chakma, 35, son of Angara Chakma of Kalabonya village at 5pm yesterday.
He was taken to the camp and subjected to interrogation. He was released at 7pm on the same day.
Mr. Shanti Raj Chakma earns his living by engaging in logging business.
