The military-backed vigilantes have abducted a man from Toikorma Para, Ward 7 of Hafchhari Union in Guimara Upazila, Khagrachhari district.
The abducted person has been identified as Mongsa Marma (28), son of Dhungya Marma, from Toikorma Para village. According to his family, he works as a motorcycle driver and is also involved in decoration work in Guimara.
According to Mongsa Marma’s wife, Akraima Marma, six vigilantes abducted him from his home around 8:30 PM on Thursday (September 11, 2025).
As of 9:00 PM, when this report was written, there had been no contact from the abductors, she said. His whereabouts are still unknown.
The incident has caused deep concern among local residents and family members.
