The Bangladesh Army personnel reportedly assaulted Kulai Chan Tripura (55), his wife, and their 12-year-old daughter in the Sapmara area of Matiranga upazila in Khagrachari district.
According to reports, on Tuesday night (2 December 2025) at around 10 p.m., a group of 35–40 army personnel from the Bengmara camp raided the home of Kulai Chan Tripura. At the time, a few villagers were chatting at his house. Seeing the sudden arrival of the soldiers, they fled out of fear.
After that, the soldiers beat Kulai Chan Tripura, his wife, and his daughter. The victims said that the soldiers ordered them not to inform anyone about the incident, and that they are now living in fear.
