A group of BGB (Border Guard Bangladesh) members conducted a patrol in the hill villages of Taichakma and Choto Belchari of Ramgarh in Khagrachari district. A few days earlier, BGB members had visited these two villages and asked various questions such as “Where are the hill people building houses?”, which created panic among the residents.
According to sources, today, Wednesday (3 December 2025), at around 9:00 a.m., a 20-member team of BGB personnel from the Taichala BGB camp patrolled Taichakma and Choto Belchari villages. Although they did not question anyone this time, repeated patrols by BGB personnel have caused quiet tension among the villagers.
In addition, local residents said that the same BGB members also stayed for some time in the mango orchard area of Gulu Company near Hachuk Para.
After completing the patrol, the BGB personnel returned to the camp at around 1:00 p.m.
