Two members of the Rupayan faction of the Jana Samhati Samiti were shot dead in Longudu in Rangamati district.
The incident took place in Adorokchara area at 5am today. According to sources, a group of JSS men (Santu Larma faction) led by Kalyan Chakma ambushed and shot dead the two members of their rival faction when they were on their way to Dighinala.
The deceased have been identified as Borsha Chakma, 35, son of Langya Chakma of village Sadhakchara under Boalkhali Union and Sunil Bikash Tripura, 28, son of Jomadhan Tripura of village Jamtoli, Dighinala Sadar.
