Two UPDF activists arrested in Ramgarh

TWO activists of the United Peoples’ Democratic Front, popularly known by its acronym UPDF, have been arrested from Manik Chandra Para village under Patachara Union in Ramgarh, according to sources.

Ula Pru Marma, 35, and Khili Aung Marma, 25, were on their way back from Porshuram Ghat on a motorbike when the army stopped them at Bhanga Bridge area at 11 am today.

Ula Pru Marma son of Shanti Marma is a resident of Bholachola village and Khili Aung Marma son of Kyha Ching Marma hails from Dhebatoli village in Manikchari Upazila.

Both of them were handed over to the police later in the day, sources added.
