THE ARMY on Friday raided Betchari Mukh Para village under Kamalchari Union in Khagrachari district and disrupted a wedding ceremony that was underway in a house there.

The soldiers pointed their guns at the guests in a threatening manner and asked, ‘Where are UPDF activists?’

The army men were accompanied by three members of the newly-formed Jargo Party vigilante group, also known as Nobyo Mukhosh Bahini.

No UPDF members were present there and the army men left the wedding house after the Jargo Party members gave them a wink.
