THE army on Thursday, March 10, beat a school boy in Mahalchari, Khagrachari district for allegedly taking their pictures on his mobile phone.
The victim, 11-year-old Rohit Tripura, a student of class four in Hazachara Government Primary School, was passing by his school, which the soldiers were occupying during a raid, when the army took him to a room and beat him severely for the alleged ‘offence’.
The army men snatched away his mobile and went back to their Bizitola camp.
