The Chittagong Hill Tracts Commission on Tuesday condemned the killing of an indigenous woman in Khagrachari and called on the government to bring the perpetrators to book.
Expressing grave concern over continued impunity in cases of violence against ethnic minority women in the hill districts, the commission called on the government to undertake immediate and effective measures to stop such violation of basic rights, including the right to life, of the ethnic minority people. ….
