THE Border Guard Bangladesh personnel on Thursday tortured Sufidhon Tripura, 30, in Hachowk-para village under Potachara Union in Ramgarh Upazila.
Mr Tripura was working in his field when 10 BGB men raided the village.
The BGB, from Toichala camp, also threatened the families of Potendra Tripura, Joysen Tripura and Ponendra Tripura to leave the village to make room for Bengali settlement there.
‘The BGB told us that they would settle Bengali people in our land and asked us to leave the area’, Potendra told chtnews.com.
