SUNIL TONCHONGYA ALIAS JONI, a UPDF activist, was gunned down by JSS Reformists in Naniachar on Wednesday, April 11.
He was returning to Major Para village after attending a public meeting at Forest Office area on Khagrachari-Rangamati road when an armed gang belonging to JSS Reformists ambushed him.
Sunil, who hailed from Rajstali Upazila in Rangamati district, was hit in the chest and legs and died on the spot.
