THE ARMY arrested an innocent person from Chongrachari village under Sindukchari Union in Mahalchari Upazila, sources said.
A group of army personnel from Bajpara camp on Sunday night (31 May) raided the house of Rabi Shashi Chakma and rousted him out of his bed.
The 35-year-old, son of Noaram Chakma, is a jum cultivator and day labourer.
The army gave no reason for his arrest and took him to their camp.
