THE MILITARY-BACKED Borkha Party terrorists beat up an innocent villager when he went to Laxmichari bazaar on Sunday.
The notorious Borkha terrorists led by Shyamol Kanti Chakma took Babul Chakma (22) son of Nishi Kumar Chakma from Laxmichari bazaar to nearby Jurgachari village at 1:30 p. m. and then beat him up.
Babul Chakma, a resident of Rannyamachara village under Dullyatoli Union, went to Laxmichari bazar to buy daily necessities, as it was market day yesterday.
He was set free in the late afternoon under pressure from the local elders and elected public representatives.
